Refund policy

The following refund policy relates exclusively to purchases made online. We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at sales@caroleridley.com or give us a call on 01227 275713 and let us know immediately so we are aware the order is being returned to us. Please send all returns with an insured and signed for courier. Please note that the postal costs for returned goods are the customers’ responsibility.

Damage and issues
All pieces will go through a QC procedure before they are despatched. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions/non-returnable items
If the garment has any makeup, perfume or smoke odour it will not qualify for a return. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure we can exchange for the correct item is to call us up and inform us so we can put it to one side straight away for you. Return the item you have and once received we will send out the new article. 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund. Once received, your refund will be processed within 3 business days. Please note that any shipping charges will not be included in the refund amount.
